Congratulations on your acceptance to this amazing Israel experience!
Date | Flight | Departs | Arrives |
---|---|---|---|
May 27 | ELAL 012 | 1:55 AM JFK | 7:25 PM May 27 Tel Aviv |
June 10 | ELAL 001 | 1:00 AM Tel Aviv | 5:50 AM June 10 JFK |
HOW: If you would like to extend your ticket, you may request it when you sign up for your flight below.
WHEN: The extension deadline is July 1. You should submit your extension request ASAP. We always try to fulfill requests at the best price, but remember that you are traveling at one of the busiest times of the year. The longer you wait, the harder it will be to get the date and price that you’d like.
COST: The cost to extend is $50 PLUS any difference in fare between the group flight and the flight you are requesting. If your first choice is not available for $50, we will get back to you with other options. The cost to extend after the deadline is $75 PLUS any difference in fare between the group flight and the flight you are requesting.
ADDITIONAL CHANGES: There is a $25 charge for each change after confirmation.
LIMITS: Extensions will be issued on a first-come first-served basis, as the airline limits the number of tickets that may be extended. You can also change your ticket after it is issued although the cost will be $245 + any change in ticket fare.
DESTINATIONS: Your ticket may only be changed to return directly to North America. If you want to travel in Europe you should buy a return flight to Tel Aviv or a flight back home. ELAL has direct flights to NYC, Los Angeles, Miami, Boston and Toronto. There may be a difference in flight cost if you return to a different city than your original ticket.
PROCEDURE: If your extension request is available with no additional fees we will change your ticket and email it to you for confirmation and payment. You must respond within a day if a change needs to be made. Once we change your ticket, we lose the original seat. It might cost more to put you back on the original flight.
COMPANIONS: If you plan to travel with another student, you should preferably fill out your flight forms on the same day and add a note that you are traveling together.
EXTENSIONS AFTER TICKETING: You can also change your ticket after it is issued by contacting either Go Inspire or ELAL. The cost will be $245 + any change in ticket fare.
CONTACT: If you are extending your trip we will respond within a week. If you do not hear from us please send an email to [email protected]
Please indicate on your flight form if you have any special dietary needs (e.g. if you are a vegetarian) so that we can accommodate you in Israel. (Note, we cannot cater to ALL food allergies and special needs but when notified in advance we will do our best)
No religious observances are required from the participants. However, participants should show respect for the observances of others. Men should bring dress pants and shirts for Shabbat. Women should bring a long-sleeved blouse and a long skirt (to the knees) for similar occasions. Appropriate modest dress should also be worn when going to religious neighborhoods in Jerusalem, including the Old City and holy sites.
Please note that business casual attire is mandatory on 6 days of the program during which we will be hearing from high-level speakers and participating in intense activism training. We request on these days that participants wear skirts or slacks, and blouses, sweaters, polos or dress shirts. We ask that you do not wear sneakers, T-shirts and jeans on these days. Some of these days end with bus trips or free time, so you may want to bring an easy change of clothes to wear after classes. On other days of the program, participants may dress in casual attire.
Please refer to our Packing list for more suggestions.
Please return in April for cell phone details
