Flight Information

  • All trip participants must complete the flight form in order to secure a ticket (click on the Flight Registration button below).
  • Regulations require that all passports remain valid for at least three months after your return flight. Please make sure that your passport is acceptable
  • If you will be flying into Los Angeles to join the group, allow at least three hours between your flights.
  • Airline baggage limits: 1 piece weighing up to 50 lbs. + one carry on + one personal bag.
  • Note that extensions are not permitted for this trip.

Dietary Needs

We will order kosher airline meals for all passengers. If you have special dietary needs, you should pack extra food for the flight.

Packing List

No religious observances are required from the participants. However, participants should show respect for the observances of others. Men should bring dress pants and shirts for Shabbat. Women should bring a long-sleeved blouse and a long skirt (to the knees) for similar occasions. Appropriate modest dress should also be worn when going to religious sites.

Poland can be very cold during the winter months and we spend a long time outdoors sometimes hours at a time. Especially if you are coming from a warm climate, it is important to be prepared.

We strongly suggest the following:
• Try to PACK LIGHTLY. We change hotels almost every night, which means you’ll be unpacking a lot within 1 week.
• Small backpacks come in handy to leave on the bus/ travel with in case you want to take off layers of clothing, carry camera, phone, snacks, etc.
• Snacks for long bus rides.
• Personal & Basic Medication (if necessary)
• Europe Adapters/ Converters
• Personal prayer book, Tehilim/ Aneni book, & Traveler’s Prayer
• Toiletries
• Israeli flags!
• Spending money

CLOTHING/ ATTIRE:
• Remember to bring 2 Shabbat Outfits (Friday night and Saturday). Girls must have knee length skirts and 3 quarter length sleeve shirts/ blouses. Guys must wear slacks/ suits. It is recommended to wear a skirt over layered leggings.
• Umbrella
• Warm waterproof coat
• Warm boots/ comfortable shoes that are suitable for walking in the snow.
• Layers (fleeces, thermals, compression shirts)
• Face mask (not necessary, but has been used in the past and people loved it)
• Gloves
• Hat & sunglasses
• Scarfs
• Ear muffs
• Hand & toe warmers (Big 5, Home Depot, Online)
